Wrestler of the Month June 2024:
Derrik "Yessir" Winter
For the sixth time, and first this year, Derrik "Yessir" Winter is your Supreme Wrestler of the Month. In what is Supreme's busiest month, Derrik racked up several impressive victories to earn this feat. He started the month off defeating newcomer Zach Henderson. To make the month even more difficult on Winter, Eric Draven put a bounty out on him, so he had to have eyes in the back of his head! The first man to try and collect on the bounty was powerhouse DNA, who Winter defeated soundly. Next, Derrik began Supreme's Monsters on the Midway fair shows by defeating "Custom Made" Eric Draven in the first show on night one. He then went on to defeat "Mr. By the Book" Gaston LaRue to win a spot in the Central States Title Scramble match. Entering that match #1, he would outlast all other competitors to win "Underestimated" Tanner Saturn's Central States title for the first time. While he would lose the title back to Tanner two days later in a Fatal Four Way match, he would gain a measure of revenge when along with J.J. Liberty and Brenden Shades, he defeated Custom Made in a 6 Man Tag Team match to end the week of fair shows. From there, things did not get easy on the former Supreme Champion as he would defeat another person coming to collect the bounty, Kash Jackson. He ended the month in a big way, defeating Tanner once again at Final Friday, and the next night, defeating "The Investment" Avery Hurts. With the endless stream of people looking to collect that bounty, Derrik will have a tough road ahead if he wants to win this honor for a second month in a row!
